How It Works
01 Scheduling
Beautiful portraits can be created at any stage, but there is something especially meaningful about documenting your baby’s first year—the fleeting details, the quiet changes, the moments that pass all too quickly. Here are a few thoughtful guidelines to help you plan your session.
4-5 Months
Around three to five months, your baby begins to hold their head up with confidence and becomes more aware of the world around them. It’s a beautiful window to capture—when they’re curious, expressive, and beginning to engage, yet still soft and calm. These sessions often unfold naturally, allowing for genuine interaction and those quiet, meaningful moments between you.
6-9 MONTHS
The sitting stage is such a beautiful moment to capture—those soft baby rolls, chubby cheeks, and growing curiosity. As your little one begins to sit independently but isn’t fully on the move just yet, it allows for a calm, effortless session with space for natural expression. Typically between six to nine months, it’s an ideal time for a motherhood session, preserving your connection in a way that feels both intimate and timeless.
9-12 months
As your baby begins to crawl, their personality truly comes alive. Full of curiosity, movement, and joy, this stage lends itself to beautifully candid, expressive imagery. It’s also a wonderful time for a motherhood session, as your little one becomes more interactive—bringing a playful, dynamic energy to your time together in front of the camera.
1 Year
One-year-olds are full of curiosity, movement, and personality—always eager to explore the world around them. It’s a beautiful stage to capture, filled with energy and expression. Sessions at this age tend to be more fluid and playful, embracing their natural rhythm and movement to create images that feel alive, candid, and true to who they are.
2 Years & beyond
By the time your baby turns two, they’ll likely be a lot more subdued (relatively speaking). They may even be able to sit still for short periods of time. This makes two years old and beyond a great time for photoshoots.
No matter what age your child is, there's always a perfect time to capture their beauty in a photograph. Depending on your schedule, we can work with you to find a time that works best for both you and your little one.
02 Session Consultation
Let’s bring your vision to life. Together, we’ll explore concepts, styling, and direction to create something truly personal and memorable. During a phone consultation, we’ll dive into your ideas and refine every detail with intention. You’ll also receive a thoughtfully curated session guide to ensure everything feels seamless from start to finish.
03 Shoot Day
On the day of your session, you’ll arrive at the studio and settle into a calm, welcoming space. We’ll refine your wardrobe selections and begin with professional hair and makeup, so you feel completely taken care of.
You’ll have access to a curated wardrobe of studio pieces—from flowing maternity gowns to luxurious silk—designed to photograph beautifully. Together, we’ll create a series of distinct looks, each with its own mood and intention, resulting in a refined, cohesive gallery.
No experience in front of the camera is needed. I’ll guide you every step of the way with gentle, intuitive direction so you feel at ease, confident, and effortlessly beautiful throughout.
04 Viewing & Ordering
After your session, you’ll receive a private gallery to preview your images. We’ll then connect for a guided viewing, where I’ll walk you through the collection and help you thoughtfully select your favorites.
This is also the moment to choose how your images will live—whether as refined wall art or beautifully crafted prints. Once your selections are made, each image is carefully retouched with a light, intentional hand, preserving their depth and transforming them into timeless pieces you’ll treasure.
05 Delivery
Your final images are carefully refined and prepared for you to enjoy. Through your private online gallery, you’ll be able to download and share your digital collection with ease.
Your chosen artwork is then thoughtfully produced and delivered, ready to live beautifully within your home. Seeing your images in print—held in your hands or displayed on your walls—transforms them into something truly lasting, to be lived with and cherished for years to come.

HOW SOON SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
It’s never too early to schedule your photoshoot. Sometimes we can accommodate last minute requests, but we recommend a 6-8 week notice. If you would like a weekend appointment it is important to book early as Saturdays are booked fast.

The studio is located in a convenient location in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

DO YOU PROVIDE DRESSES/FABRICS/WRAPS?
Yes. Our studio provides a full wardrobe that includes an exquisite selection of beautiful sheer silks and other fabrics for draping as well as robes, dresses and some accessories.
CAN MY PARTNER OR MY CHILD BE IN THE PICTURES?
Absolutely! The father of your child is welcome and encouraged to join. If you are bringing your child or children, please bring someone to help keep them occupied.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE SESSION?
Try not to wear tight underwear and clothing on the day of the session to prevent marks on your skin. Get a manicure and a pedicure a day or two in advance.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY MATERNITY SESSION?
After you book your portrait session, we will send you tips on what you can bring and how to prepare. We are a full service studio, so you don't need to worry about bringing many clothing options. If the majority of images you are looking to do are artistic nudes, we recommend bringing less clothes.
It is recommended that you bring:
Nude (skin color) strapless bra
Nude thong underwear
DO I HAVE TO BE NUDE (FOR MATERNITY SESSIONS)?
Not at all. All of our maternity sessions are customized and tailored to the wants and needs of each client. Some clients prefer clean and simple artistic nude photographs and wraps, while others prefer to be fully clothed.
SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT EXTRA WEIGHT (CHIN, ARMS, THIGHS) AND STRETCH MARKS?
We want you to feel beautiful and relaxed during your photography experience as well as to treasure your final images. Complete professional retouching is included in your session and you don’t have to worry about any imperfections such as blemishes, stretch marks and certain body contours. We specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing and will enhance and transform the image into a stunning work of art.
THIS IS MY FIRST STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE. WILL YOU GUIDE ME AND HELP ME POSE?
You are in good hands and we want to make sure that you will have the best selection of artistic images. Sabrina utilizes her impeccable lighting skills and with her artistic eye photographs your beautiful body curves. Even if its your first professional photography experience, her goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, beautiful and empowered, pampered and confident. During your personalized photo shoot with Sabrina, she will guide you through elegant poses and will focus on angles that bring out your most beautiful self.
I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE SIMILAR IMAGES/POSES THAT I SAW IN YOUR PORTFOLIO. CAN WE DO THAT?
Sure. You can pick your favorite lighting/backdrop set ups and poses from our portfolio and you are welcome to bring your own ideas as well.
WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?
You will be sent a private online gallery to choose your favorite images for retouching about 1 week after your shoot. It typically takes 3 weeks for the final images to be ready.
